Wet this evening, with the rain occasionally heavy, before gradually clearing to the north. Many areas becoming dry overnight with clear spells, although some showers reaching the west by dawn. Minimum Temperature 9C.

A largely dry start, but showers quickly becoming widespread across the region. Showers merging for a time to give a longer spell of rain, but in between some sunshine developing. Maximum Temperature 14C.

Rain is more likely to be focused across the south and east. Locally strong winds may also accompany some of the rain. Some drier spells are also likely, the best of these probably towards the north west. Where skies are clear and winds light overnight, frost and fog are likely, the fog slow to clear. Towards the end of this period, we may see a transition towards more generally drier weather across the UK, and with this it is likely to turn a little cooler overall, with a greater risk of overnight frost.
