Cloudy through the evening with outbreaks of rain, heaviest in the west. Rain becoming patchy as it clears east overnight, allowing for some clear skies. Showers for Western Isles later. Minimum Temperature 2C.

Dry with bright or sunny spells for much of the region through the day. Blustery showers over the west coast and Hebrides will spread to all parts through the evening. Maximum Temperature 8C.

There are signs that conditions may become less disturbed heading towards the Christmas period, with the potential for high pressure to build bringing drier conditions, with the risk of overnight frost and fog patches increasing.
