Cloud largely clearing southwards during the evening, leaving much of the region dry but cold overnight, with a frost for many. A little less cold in coastal districts, with one or two showers here. Local fog patches also possible. Minimum Temperature -4C.

A cold start, perhaps fine in the west at first but becoming increasingly showery generally, with sharp showers more widely into the afternoon, perhaps locally thundery. Drier but frosty overnight. Maximum Temperature 12C.

Temperatures likely to trend upwards, with the chance of a warm to very warm spell in some southern and eastern parts, before conditions probably turn gradually drier, cooler and more settled from the west towards the end of the period.
