A band of persistent rain arrives from the west this evening with heavy outbreaks at times, and perhaps the occasional rumble of thunder. Increasingly windy, but rain turning to showers throught the second half of the night. Minimum Temperature 13C.

Meanwhile there is the possibility of some very warm, perhaps hot conditions developing, especially in the south and these bring with them the chance of thunderstorms.
